A story of everyday life in a Moroccan village, seeing the sunset over the Atlas Mountains.

7'3" x 10'3"

These Berber (wool) rugs are made in the Atlas Mountains in Marrakech, Morocco by the indigenous tribes. Each rug is lovingly handmade on a loom and represent the different lives and values of specific tribes. Many show the story of their lives and culture within the rugs. It's like art but for your floor.

Berber is wool and because they are handmade and hand-dyed, inconsistencies can be seen but add to the authentic craftmanship of each rug. Every rug is cleaned and carefully handle so it arrives safely to your home. Nationwide shipping is available.

A rug pad (not included) is recommended or layer on a larger rug for stability.

When checking out, please note that pickups are in the 78641 (Leander) area code. Delivery is available for a fee.

As for all vintage items, wear is expected to be consistent with age so not every single flaw is shown in photos. Significant flaws are photographed. You are expected to view item before purchasing to ensure you are happy with purchase. Full-disclosure videos are available, just DM me on Instagram so I can FaceTime or send a video. Please purchase with this in mind as refunds are not given. All sales are final. As a small business, I thrive on customer satisfaction but I am not Amazon and these are vintage items.

Our Story & Store Policy

CurbVulture keeps history out of the landfill and has restored and rehomed over 1,000 vintage pieces. As a small business, I do collect sales tax.

I am a homeschooling mom of 7 who started this business before the pandemic to get out of debt. Before shifting to vintage furniture, I picked up items from the roadside, hence the name CurbVulture. Within 6 months, I paid off 10k in debt and realized I could do this full-time, even as I homeschooled my kids. In January 2022, we started our website. By June 2022, my husband came home to help with the growing workload.

By purchasing items from our online shop, you are supporting the environment, history and a small business owner with a very large family.

I aim to photograph all flaws. Many of these items are over 70 years old and have normal wear. Not every tiny flaw is photographed so please ensure the condition of the item either via a FaceTime call or in-person. All sales are final. No refunds are given.

Thank you for honoring me with reading my story.
