Breathtaking sunset view of "The Window" that Samantha Lesan witnessed in Big Bend National Park in early 2022.
There are so many lovely color shades here that would enhance any room.
It's a showstopper at 24"x48" and will be the dominate focal point of any wall.
Painted on gallery-wrapped canvas with color-fast acrylics.
ABOUT THE LOCAL AUSTIN ARTIST
After studying psychology at the University of Washington, Samantha Lesan spent the next eight years supporting survivors of trauma within social and crisis services in Seattle. These men and women inspired her as they shared their stories of escaping danger and allowed her to be present while they learned to create a life in which they are safe to pursue their dreams. They, as well as her own personal story of healing and growth, have empowered her to create art which celebrates thriving life. Samantha's hope is that her work inspires joy and hope in you, reminding you that you are loved.
Our Story & Store Policy
CurbVulture keeps history out of the landfill and has restored and rehomed over 1,000 vintage pieces. As a small business, I do collect sales tax.
I am a homeschooling mom of 7 who started this business before the pandemic to get out of debt. Before shifting to vintage furniture, I picked up items from the roadside, hence the name CurbVulture. Within 6 months, I paid off 10k in debt and realized I could do this full-time, even as I homeschooled my kids. In January 2022, we started our website. By June 2022, my husband came home to help with the growing workload.
By purchasing items from our online shop, you are supporting the environment, history and a small business owner with a very large family.
I aim to photograph all flaws. Many of these items are over 70 years old and have normal wear. Not every tiny flaw is photographed so please ensure the condition of the item either via a FaceTime call or in-person. All sales are final. No refunds are given.
Thank you for honoring me with reading my story.
ALL SALES FINAL. NO REFUNDS OR RETURNS.
